Stefan Hoffmann takes over as managing director of SoCom Informationssysteme GmbH

Since 1 June, SoCom Informationssysteme GmbH has had a new managing director: Stefan Hoffmann. He takes over the management of our company and, together with the existing SoCom Team, will continue to develop our solutions and services for the textile service industry.

Stefan Hoffmann brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate management, growth, transformation and team development. During his career, he has worked for companies including Google, Unilever and ZetaDisplay. Most recently, as Country Director and Managing Director of ZetaDisplay Germany, he was responsible for the company’s further development.

Established expertise remains within the company

For our customers, partners and the textile service industry, SoCom remains a reliable partner for digital solutions in textile services. A large part of our team consists of long-standing employees with extensive industry experience, deep process understanding and close customer relationships.

This means that industry knowledge, professional expertise and established contact structures remain firmly anchored within the company. Ongoing projects, existing customer relationships and direct dialogue with our customers will continue as usual.

“I am very much looking forward to my new role at SoCom,” says Stefan Hoffmann. “The company has a strong team, deep industry knowledge and long-standing customer relationships. This combination of technological expertise and closeness to the textile service industry is a particular strength. My goal is to build on this, further develop existing strengths and, together with the team, provide new impulses.”

A structured handover and a shared view ahead

The handover has been deliberately designed as a structured process. Michael Wieser, former Managing Director of SoCom Informationssysteme GmbH, personally selected Stefan Hoffmann as his successor and is closely supporting the onboarding process. Beyond this, Michael Wieser will remain closely connected to the company and will continue to advise Stefan Hoffmann and the SoCom Team.

“With Stefan Hoffmann, a leader with extensive experience in building and developing organisations is taking over the management of SoCom,” says Michael Wieser. “At the same time, SoCom’s industry knowledge remains firmly anchored within the company. I am convinced that Stefan, together with the team, will set the right impulses to further develop SoCom and continue strengthening its close ties with customers and the industry.”

Michael Wieser will take on the role of Group Director DACH within the everfield group. In this function, he will remain responsible for SoCom and will continue to closely support the company’s development.

Further developing digital solutions for textile services

With this new setup, SoCom is looking clearly ahead: towards reliable customer relationships, strong industry expertise and the targeted further development of digital solutions for textile services.

Together with Stefan Hoffmann, Michael Wieser and the entire SoCom Team, we will continue to develop our solutions, processes and structures — close to the needs of our customers and with the aim of reliably supporting textile service companies in their digitalisation, now and in the future.
